A1 RYA Sailing School

RYA Sailing Courses - Alcudia, Mallorca

July, 2009

Plotter / Radar one day course. In marine electronics world there is a continuously changing array of GPS Plotters and radars available, often its difficult to know which kit would best suit your needs and if you already have the kit you may find many of the useful features are seemingly too complex to sort out, this one day course aims to show the user a variety of units in operation and how to get the best from them. It can also be conducted onboard an owners vessel where quite often we find the unit has not been setup correctly at day one which causes anomalies and confusion. We explain the units use, the pitfalls and how to operate it safely and with a greater understanding.
